as above who knows the best place to get 1 repaired and probly need painted in and around lanarkshire thanks colin

You could try re-coat - tel: 0141 958 1777 - based in Whiteinch Glasgow - I know they do painting ('cos I'm taking my alloys there tomorrow) - however not 100% sure if they do repairs - If they don't do it though - I'm sure they'll know a place that does.

Auto Image (Edin and Glasgow) do a pretty good job - Edin one did mine and it was 25 a wheel....may be more now but they looked good afterwards.

Also my neighbour does Flying Colours franchise and he does scrapes/scrath repairs etc...does all McKays cars too (you should see them when they come off the boats!) He does mobile wheel repair/refurbs too....may be a Flying Colours guy nearer you tho....they all do 'homers' too

found this thread when searching for alloy wheel repair companies in Glasgow.

my front passenger wheel now has a slight dent in the inside of the rim when I went over a mega pothole doing the recce for the Sept run.

got it balanced today and noticed the dent.

Anyone know of good places near glasgow that open on Saturdays to repair one alloy?

any one else suggest alloy repair places in Glasgow - called the 2 places above and they dont open on Saturdays - a slight inconvenience for me

Imy,if you want to arrange with any of the 2 Glasgow companies to get your repair done,i'll gladly drop your wheel off and pick it up for you any day during the week as i am in and around Glasgow every day anyway......just a thought.
