SCOOBYTOO Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 would any one be up for doing our own santa cruise next year as i am willing to do the arrangements? please let me know your thoughts.
mark_sheepwash Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Yes most definatly - Demelza House would be a good one to help out
SCOOBYTOO Posted December 9, 2004 Author Posted December 9, 2004 yep that was one of them i was thinking of. any more?
AllenJ Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Don't mean to bust your bubble peeps, i thought Santa Cruise was North/South/Midlands, not per county. Just a thought, i mean it's a free world at the end of the day. I stand corrected, i meant the SIDC santa cruise.
SCOOBYTOO Posted December 9, 2004 Author Posted December 9, 2004 yeh, but the more the merrier ehy???more pressis more happy kids!
mark_sheepwash Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Maybe there should be a big collection for the south and then distributed out via the county clubs? just an idea........
Pele Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 I was going to organise one this year, but due to personal reasons it had to be postponed...Let me know if you need any help tho
SCOOBYTOO Posted December 9, 2004 Author Posted December 9, 2004 excellent, w'ell have have a chat some time to get the ball rolling.
mark_sheepwash Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Yes I'm willing to help get it organized as well - would have helped with the southern one but too much else going on at the mo
mark_sheepwash Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 as for other places to distribute to, kids are always in hospital this time of year unfortunately so medway/darenth valley hospitals?
GaryS Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 as the mug who came up with the idea.... More than happy for a Kent Santa Cruise next year ...Essex guys are looking at one too... but only if you can make it viable...nothing worse than promising something to a home/hospital and then struggling to deliver.. you guys are pretty organised...so...I don't see that side of it being a snag.. the other thing is that we do organise some things centrally. (stickers, the auction , etc...)so I'd need a clear point of contact. but , in principle.....go for it
Montythegod Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 I look after Demelza house computers.. and I see and meet these kids.... good cause indeed !
