No probs Grant,

I am back again tonight at C&C around 6PM - after my run of luck:

1. Primera goes to C&C slight exhaust blow - welded up BUT too hard to get (between downpipes).

SO

2. New downpipes fitted a few weeks later BUT cannot get all the 10 year old nuts off and, of course, one shears - TYPICAL so still blowing a bit.

SO

3. Booked back in a few weeks later, Cameron spent hours drilling it out, fits new studs etc and seals up - perfect. Also fixed power steering pump.

BUT

4. That night driving to Greenock, strange noise then terrible rattling - thought the exhaust had fallen off.

GUESS WHAT!!!!

5. The back box is now goosed - just after the front of it is going great, the back decides to give up the ghost!! Typical.

Nevermind, it had lasted for 195,000 miles on the original Nissan system, then it all goes at once.

So it is now going back in again - Cameron will be sick of the sight of it.

However, superb customer service and skill from C&C Hillington as usual.

if its a two litre primera you've got i've got a spare nissan fuel pump you can have (with tank seal).

It is a two litre Primera but it is a 2 litre diesel - don't know if the pump is the same? Anyone know?

Superb Rally GB this year - great final Super Special stage on the tele. Want to go out and drive the Impreza now but instead it will be the Primera off to C&C hospital!!!!
