WRC No 1 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Me n Scoobymadburd are interested just let us know when and where and we will try make it along??? p.s. I thought something was going to get organised at thursdays meet??? (Wullie)
dougster Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I understand the interest and peoples good will to take part. I will if I can but at this time I don't know if I will be working, at her mums, at my mums or lying on a beach in Lanzarote. (I may not even have a Subaru by then) I guess many others are in the same situation. If Billy and Barry could get something organised it would give others an idea what is expected. The Santa Cruise section of the SIDC forum may give other useful tips on what has been organised before.
karps Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 live in bishopbriggs billyboy work in kirky
DEVLIN Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Judging by the interest , I thing a meet in Glasgow - around town centre will pretty much suit all from Bishopbriggs , Hamilton , Castlemilk , Paisley etc. How does " The Quay " next to hotshots etc on Paisley road west suit you lot ( just under the kingston bridge ) post asap so that we can sort a date out
WRC No 1 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 The Quay sounds good for me and scoobymadburd thats easy for us to get ther and very central. (Wullie) P.s Scoobymadburd(Claire) spotted Barry in Bothwell on monday she said she heard you then looked in the rear view mirror and recognised your reg so you were spotted
billyboy Posted September 30, 2004 Author Posted September 30, 2004 the quay is fine by me.lets agree on a time.karps i'll get the scooby from toys r us and bring it to the meet as the first pressie.hows that?
DEVLIN Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 So the quay is pretty much agreed on Im available any week night so post available dates for you lot and hopefully we can agree on something and get these weans loads of pressies

WRC No 1 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 billyboy what about having it on the sunday at the ayrshire meet. (wullie)
DEVLIN Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 wullie we could , but i dont fancy standing in a car park (freezing) I dont see any problem with starting the ball rolling if it suits you guys p.s. what was claire driving when I was spotted in bothwell.(coz it wasnt the prezza)

keap_scooby2 Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 billy, just a thought with wrapping the pressies how are you going to know if its a girl or boy? and age?
billyboy Posted October 2, 2004 Author Posted October 2, 2004 good point mate.looks like we'll have to get the elves to wrap them eh?
WRC No 1 Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 billyboy y dont we put tags on them that are easy 2 come off with male or female and age group. ps. the tags with the strings. (wullie)
billyboy Posted October 2, 2004 Author Posted October 2, 2004 yes go for that.i've been to toys r us bought a remote control impreza for some lucky kid in yorkhill.karps m8 i've kept my word and will bring it to ayr meet.is this teh first pressie of hundreds.i hope so.
WRC No 1 Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 i deffinately think its the first present in hundreds i think it will be a good show on xmas day!
keap_scooby2 Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 just another thought folks, how many kids will be in on xmas day? and how will you know the age groups. here is an idea for you: boys - scooby cars, various sizes etc dependant on age. girls - barbie dolls or similar babies in icu - teddies, as you wont get much into an incubator. hopefully this sounds good to you all, as boys do like cars and girls dolls. as i say only an idea.
stephen_fergus2 Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 Hi folks , Just caught up on this thread . Count me in for the Santa Cruise + for a donation as well . I can't make the Ayrshire meet due to commitments , but I can make most other nights , be it at the Quay or Ayrshire etc . The Scooby wagon is going , but , Ill be damned if I dont try to get another scoob soon ! Well done to u all for organising this . Let me know if I can help . Cheers , Steve
billyboy Posted October 3, 2004 Author Posted October 3, 2004 i think it will be hard to estimate the numbers of pressies due to emergencies etc.could i suggest no sweets as some kids wont be allowed them, and it would'nt be fair to them.wat time is meet 2morrow?im peed off today some @astard threw a full can of millers and it landed on my o/s/f wing result?large dent.kill a ned for christmas!
derek_robertson Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Hi Billy, 6pm was suggested & agreed by a few on "ayrshire meet post" We could meet at Horizon again, perhaps inside hotel this time as rain is forecast in between the showers!!!!! Sorry to hear about the damage to your scoob m8,hope it's not too serious. cheers, Del
