2007 Wrx Headlight Levelling Sensor (Light on dash)

Hi Guys and Girls

I have got a 2007 wrx. Has warning light on to do with self leveling sensor. I took apart the front one and the sensor is damaged. I have ordered new sensor but it wont be here in time for my car to pass its MOT test. Do anyone know how to bypass the sensor and fool the ecu so it Will pass the MOT. Will fail if the light is on the dash. 

I heard someone say way of bypassing it with resistors??
