Hi, new to the club.

I bought an Impreza in January. It's a 2005 WRX in blue, it was mostly standard when I bought it apart from a dump valve and decat exhaust.

The first task was getting the servicing up to date. So the cam belt, pulleys and water pump were done first, then a new set of NGKs thrown in, HKS oil and panel filter and a new fuel filter too. Fresh oil put into the diffs and then used it as my daily driver. After 5,000 miles I put another HKS oil filter and fresh oil again just to be a bit cautious.

Since then I fitted a new exhaust with sports cat, I replaced the dump valve with a HKS SSQV4, replaced all of the coolant hoses with blue silicone hoses. I have a decat up pipe waiting to go on but not had chance to get it on yet, I need to find somewhere to do this for a price in my range.

I also picked up some Inovit 18" alloys and fitted them with Conti SC5 tyres, I love the look of the wheels but really not been impressed with the tyres. Not enough feedback for me.

I have recently started a new job that came with a company car, so I'm not sure how long i'lol be able to keep hold of the Subaru before the wife realises I now have two cars.

Anyway, looking forward to picking up some tips and advice on what to do next with the car.

Thanks

Steve

Welcome.. And wow it really is quite on here compared to 2007/08 when I had my last Subaru a 2.5 STI.

What happened? Did everyone grow up and get boring? I was recently looking at a new 2015 STI but could not quite pull the trigger as it was not different enough to my last one so ended up buying a 2004 Porsche 911 C4S instead. Its awesome and I never want to not have a Porsche now but I still look at Scoobys and think dam man should I get another?

A nice RB320 would be the ultimate in my eyes but not many about with low enough miles to be that perfect garage queen keeper at the moment.
