richy210 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 hi need bit of help iv no hand brake but have replaced all discs pads shoes and cables everything is adjusted perfect when on lift wheels lock but when on a hill it rolls away any iders on what would cas this as im abit stumpt

scoobywho Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 If its new shoes and discs they will need to bed in then be re adjusted, I have seen a cable being tight at the front and the rear moving with no effect on braking being caused by the retaining springs being too tight on the backing plate

Bryan d Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Agree we taffy whe discs r new thay come we a greasey fillm on the to prevent rusting I use thiners takes it off then ruff it up we sand paper or emery paper then gee the pads a wee ruff up to
