bombsquad Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Looking to get my Classic Spoiler wrapped. Anyone know anywhere in or around Glasgow, as I work in Hillington a lot of the time. Cheers, Gary. Oops, just noticed this is in the wrong section. Could a mod please move it. Edited July 15, 2013 by bombsquad
scoobywho Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Hi Gary there is a place in Renfrew cant remember the name, spotted them on facebook a while back
bombsquad Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 That'd be perfect mate. I'm hopeless with FB so dont even know how to search it
arch Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 No idea I have been using them for years for any body work I need on any of the cars I have had. Just had the fibreglass doors and some other bits painted for the RA work always superb. Derek had mentioned that they now do wrapping as I have a carbon bootlid which needs some TLC and cant be painted so will need to be wrapped not sure on price tho. What spoiler is it profile shows newage wagon? Drop me a PM if you want me to get you some contact details.
bombsquad Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 It is a classic WRX saloon spoiler for my van
bombsquad Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Yeh, sorry. Don't have a pic but it's wider than standard by about 200mm to fit the vans roof. It's been joined and filled, just can't be arsed perfecting the surface to paint. Edited July 15, 2013 by bombsquad
G.Mac Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 http://www.gumtree.com/p/business-services/premium-vehicle-wraps-renfrew-vinyl-wrapping-part-wraps-eg-mirror-roof-bonnet-glasgow-car-wrap/1008754935 https://www.facebook.com/premiumvehicle.wraps not used them yet, but was thinking about getting my 10R done in screaming orange Graeme
arch Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) I can ask Derek if he is interested in some form of Group buy if there is enough interest. Would think to price a job correctly most places would want to see the item. Edited July 15, 2013 by Arch
arch Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Yeh, sorry. Don't have a pic but it's wider than standard by about 200mm to fit the vans roof. It's been joined and filled, just can't be arsed perfecting the surface to paint. Would think you would still need to fill the gaps where you have joined the sections, wrap would still show that.
g1983 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 It would need to be super smooth Gary as it it was ready to be primed or painted, or it will show up as Arch says.
g1983 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Also looks like a low level spoiler as opposed to the mid. I have a spare one if req Gary
bombsquad Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 It has been chamfered, filled n smoothed, just not wet n dried. Not too fussed about it as it's a Vivaro and will only see the underside of the surface. It doesn't need to be perfect so I'm just being lazy really. It'll look fine away up there. Thanks for the offer Gordon but had 2 to start with. Scuse my Scooby newbieness, but how do you define low, mid and high level then?
man-with-men Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Theres a marvellous place just down the road from down the road. Have a look at the link www.vynalwrap.jap.com
nipps240 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 That link takes you to the British goat society ahahahahaahahaha
lewisscoob Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Low level spoiler is what you have there, mid level would something like an STI4 or 98 onwards UK turbo and high level would be STI 5 and 6 style.
scoobywho Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 That link takes you to the British goat society ahahahahaahahaha Well duh stupid nipple
