g1983 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Just next to work. might pop in the wax looks good. im using collinite 915 atm and its very good too
salsa-king Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Picked this up at WaxStock at the weekend.. 5 Litres of concentrated Angelwax Bilberry Alloy Wheel Cleaner. Tried it out and very Impressed.... They were dirtier than the photo shows, grime and brake dust covering the front alloys. I diluted the Bilberry 1:10 and put it in a spray bottle, sprayed on, allowed to do it's thing then used then agitated it with my new long reach alloy wheel brush.. also bought from Waxstock. I wiped round with a sponge too. When the above was done, I rinsed with clean water... Job's a good-un. Really impressed and would recommend it to anyone wanting alloy wheel cleaner. http://www.angelwax.co.uk/ I also picked up two 500ml spray bottles of their QED Detail Spray will see what that's like when I'm at Trax on Sunday Just used the QED stuff on the car this afternoon... really pleased as all I've done is snow foam/was, then QED's the car... looks well shiny
za - sti Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 yep if go round they will sell it to you for 'show' prices which are less than that quoted on website wheel cleaner is good as it works on powder coated wheels also - no acid cheers za
G.Mac Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 might need to go down the road and have a chat, wonder if they do details also za, you live in the new houses just as you come into Bishopton, if so i think I gave a mate of mine a lift to yours to buy some brake discs a few years back Graeme
za - sti Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 hi Graeme - yep thats me yep its worth going down for a look - they guys there are keen to show you around - they seem to be developing stuff all the time cheers za
za - sti Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 This is mine - with the silver wax and finished with the QED
za - sti Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 you might laugh but that took 2 days - probably about 7 hours in total! the only down side to the wax is that mirco fibre clothes are pretty useless are removing it as the wax hardens - so it took ages - the auto glyn finishing clothes I think would be better
