Midnight21 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) Hi folks.....I'm just wondering if anyone fancies a few beer tokens to help me out? I've been let down a few times with people saying they would seal the sump oil leak I have in the McRae ....it's just the cars sitting there and I can't do anything with her because of the leak! It definitely is leaking from the sump...and one of my friends did say they would do it but that's them away on holiday for two weeks so it won't be getting done for another month Anyway if anyone would be kind enough to help me out I'd be really grateful I want to drive her Thanks Cathy Edited July 27, 2012 by Midnight21
scoobywho Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 cath just whip it off and get sump sealer from halfords in mastic gun and fire it round it once its clean and dry
johnnyr6 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Can you see where the leak is? It's pretty common for older sumps to get pourus. My old v2 had this prob. Johnny
