Sump Oil Leak

Hi folks.....I'm just wondering if anyone fancies a few beer tokens to help me out?

I've been let down a few times with people saying they would seal the sump oil leak I have in the McRae ....it's just the cars sitting there and I can't do anything with her because of the leak! It definitely is leaking from the sump...and one of my friends did say they would do it but that's them away on holiday for two weeks so it won't be getting done for another month

Anyway if anyone would be kind enough to help me out I'd be really grateful

I want to drive her

cath just whip it off and get sump sealer from halfords in mastic gun and fire it round it once its clean and dry

Can you see where the leak is? It's pretty common for older sumps to get pourus. My old v2 had this prob.

I'm having a go with the help of a friend now ;-) hope it is as easy as you make it sound lol

Yip it's definitely just sealer needed....had all oil cleaned off. Car lay for years rotting away :-(

Good stuff, well easy enogh fix but pain in the erse and dirty.

A huge thanks to Badbaz for helping me today and allowing me to use his car ramp and tools...... that's the sump sealed (and the diff filled up and a few wee checks underneath lol) I'm in the process of trying to remove the dirt from under my nails now
