neill54 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I'm looking for ideas as which wheels to buy hopefully later in the year once I've sorted all my other jobs on the car! Hopefully going to buy a set of the abw arch extensions and I'm looking to which wheels would look and fit the best Cheers Neil
Phil MC Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Not the best of shots to show wheels, but hopefully you'll get the idea?
scoobywho Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Rota gra in gunmetal suit a silver classic perfectly
neill54 Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Rotas are the most likely choice at the mo! I've got that pic Phil as my screensaver!! Neil
arch Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 To fill the wheel arch you will need a minimum of an 8" rim with a very low offset of around 20 or 22, if you go to a 9" rim you will still need to be around 30 odd with the offset.
scoobywho Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 And also need to get the grinder out as well and take those arch lips back a bit
neill54 Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Yeah I seem it somewhere on the net in what is involved in fitting the arches seems easy enough! It's affording all the bits that's hard!! Neil
scoobywho Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Ive got rota gra 7.5 18 on my wagon et 45 running 215/35/18 tyres and they seem to sit perfect if you go for the wide arch kit its probably safer to get hubcentric spacers and run a standard offset that way you can use then on the next one
