highlandflyer Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Went for a wee run today to scrub in new F1's and was getting an odd noise when braking hard. Sounded like driving on tarmac that is damaged by caterpillar tracks giving a vibration and noise. I run grooved discs which drive and look fine but suspect it may be the tyre tread (asymetric 2's) caused by one degree neg camber loaded on inner tread edges. Has anyone else experienced this? Really looking forward to the Fling now especially if we can get more of this weather. Just a service and Whiteline ARB to do and we're all set.

doogz Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 (edited) i remember reading somewhere about quality issues with these tyres, some were getting bulges in the side wall and others were shaped like fifty pences, i am sorry i cant remember where i seen it, might be worth googling it. found this http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?27953-Tyres-Goodyear-Eagle-F1-GSD3-s-Big-Problems Edited March 25, 2012 by doogz
