jimmer Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 4 paperclips & a elastic band is what you need! Have you thought about just chucking your old wrx wheels on for the Sunday drive around the track?
beefoss Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Never got the brembo's nor the rims. People don't seem to want to be given money nowadays? haha. Sorry Jimmer, you'll have to wait for the red calipers. :0(
jimmer Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 The bloody problems I had with mine for the bloody mot were unbelievable, took me 12 hrs to sort then out in the end, just failed on everything else!
criddy Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I would chuck the WRX wheels on but they would need at least 2 tyres so might as well sort out what I got long term...
spect Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 i can sell you a set of 17s with tyres that have only done 397 miles!
jd Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 morning all, couple of comments regarding issues above: suspension: powerstation are the muts nuts. rolling road: enginetuner. attended a dyno day at Rowleys and the set-up isnt perfect. I am sure Tel can ask Martyn or Alan about sorting one. oh, and congratulations to Tel on the RO status, about time.
spect Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 I think Martyn said around £25 per car but it is not my place to interfere here lol
neil wrx Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Morning lads & lasses. Today is the big day. It is my 21st B'day again (i wish). LOL

jimmer Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I think Martyn said around £25 per car but it is not my place to interfere here lol Ugh huh! Our new ro & that! No fiddley fingers please!
neil wrx Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) Cheers mate. Fingers crossed for the re-test on the old girl i'm sure she will pass with flying colours. From talking to you at Japfest i know how stressed you have been with it all. 25 squid per car thats bloody good and they'll give u advice on potential re-mapping Edited May 18, 2012 by neil wrx
jimmer Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Like I said in a earlier post, would be good to do it after the summer shows & meets, have a few coffee's bit of food & a laugh! Around £25 is a bargain! Have to ask tel to look into it more as it sounds like rowley's arnt getting good reviews, but they are more central for everyone!
criddy Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Yeah must say not heard a good thing about them for a while! Isn't that where Beefoss took his as well?
spect Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 I only said i think it was 25 but prices likely to change by end of season i will ask next week when my turbo gets settled.
spect Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Talked to Martyn at Enginetuner and they will do £30 for a rolling road for 10 - 20 4wd cars. Ideal number is 15. Lots of tying down to do hence the limit on numbers.
jimmer Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 ok who wants to co-ordinate it then? Alright tel!? Sorry! Just would like to know whose interested in it!
beefoss Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 For that price I'm in. Would be good to see the difference between the two set ups.
spect Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Put up a list and see, but make it a saturday, if enough interested then we will talk to Martyn to confirm it.
