Travel down, hotel for the night and fuel come to approx £400.

5 Quotes from Shiply.com and the car is delivered for that. No hasstle, on a covered trailer and in 24 hrs. I did think about going to get it but having it shipped up was the obvious option. Means i can get on with clearing the garage so it's got a nice snug bed for the night! Oh and i get to spend time with the wench..... (i was forced to put this bit down)...

The only cheaper option was some dude driving it up on trade plates...... I think not. Trailer works for me. It'll be picked up Tuesday night or wednesday morning and i should have it on thursday...

Just had a call from the movers..... The car will be here at lunch time tomorrow... the excitement builds.. Already got the new head unit, ZunSport grill and a few other little touches ready to be applied....

The guy who's transporting it up said it looks gorgeous and it's the way a scooby should look. Just got me wanting it here more. He's planning the journey to be here for 12ish so i'll be like a kid at christmas in the morning.... expecting a new guitar and amp tomorrow as well so it should be a damn good day.

I might get a little run out tomorrow before a return trip from aberdeen to elgin on friday to get my son for the weekend. I think his school street cred is about to go up cos i'm under orders to pick him up from school in the new car.....
