Stoptech Discs

Hi All,

Just about to get Stoptech discs fitted by Andy at RA Motorsport and wondered if anyone had them fited to their Impreza already and what they thought of them.

I e-mailed him yesterday and he replied today with some sound advice on both brakes and options on lowering the car, he said that the hawk was prone to knocking if the car was lowered using lowering springs and standard shocks, has anyone done this and experienced this?? I know I have heard of something similar before - but not for a while. Don't really want to go down the route of coilovers - mainly because of expense to be honest!!!

stoptech are very good brakes, all newage scoobs suffer from crap rear shocks and are prone to knocking made worse with lowered springs, i have had a set of springs on mine for just under a year and have had to replace one of the shocks due to knocking
