thebigfelly Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 seems to be one thing after the other with me the now,, fixed the problem with the car pulling to the right after swapping over the punctured tyre, now when i was getting the car ready for tomorow pressing the clutch pedal slowly to the floor it squeked like a mofo , thought it was just maybe the pedal but when i done it again with the windows down you could hear it coming from the front of the car . doesnt squeek when pressing at a normal rate like when driving along but pressing it slowly and it happens. any ideas folks and if anyone does , are we talking lots of pennies to fix ... or would anyone going to show tomorow or sunday care to listen to it and give their two cents..... cheers paul
jebus82 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 i will state just now that i am not mechanically gifted knowledge or practical but... could it not just be the fact that the clutch and flywheel are coming together slower than intended when u press it slowly and as they will be moving at different speeds they are slipping and this is causeing the squeeling. where as if you press it normally they are in good contact pretty quickly and so as a result no slipping squeeling? feel free to correct me anyone if im talking mince but its just a thought? cheers jebus

diffbuster Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Hi first thing I would check is the bush at the top of the pedal slacken the nut and grease failing that remove the fork pin on bellhousing and copper ease if its none of these its probably the pressure plate. I would try a couple of hard launches and see if that helps.Gary
