  1. 1. Should I sell the classic and upgrade ?

    • Dont be daft, I've seen your classic, you'd be a fool to sell it.
    • Buy the WRX Hawkeye and get with the program.

forester sti for the lil lady? ;)

Bit gutsy on the old fuel though, esp as a daily driver. Like your way of thinking though ;)

Well that's been a week since I put up the poll and it seems that opinions are split with an equal number of votes.

Thanks to everyone that has given me an opinion and after some thought today I've decided that I'm going to try and sell it, but I'm not going to give it away, so if I don't get the asking price I'm looking for or don't get any interest then I will keep hold of it for another year.

So I'm not a paid up member so I can't stick it up in the for sale section but if anyone is looking for a seriously clean low mileage classic with some sutble but nice mods, send me a pm and I will forward you some details.

Hey Craig,

Mrs is due in November and thinking of upgrading to something newer that I can run all year round whilst I've got the chance. I've found a couple of Hawkeye WRX's that are taking my fancy but still not sure if its the right thing to do. Will be tidying up the front end of classic in the next few weeks before I advertise it, maybe I might change my mind by then, who knows, at the moment its :brickwall: try to decide.

chris, i got your pm and have replied. this was my first scoob, i still remember the day i went to view it and left my deposit for it. i absolutely loved that car, such great memories, which included picking up my wife and baby son after he was born and taking him home for the first time. the car never let me down once, it had great mods on it when i bought it, the full scoobysport system, the ledas, the hi spec brakes, and when i had andy map her with the ecutek i couldnt take the smile off my face. i still remember her driving away when i sold her, couldnt believe how great she sounded, i was gutted, but unfortunately my circumstances at the time dictated i had to sell her. iv had 2 classics since then, an sti and another uk turbo, but always remember the old mica blue one fondly. my son who is now 4 is subaru daft, he would love it if i brought the old girl home, i know how hard a decision it must be for you, low mileage mint classics are indeed a rare thing these days. pm me mate. cheers, jamie.

Still looking pretty much the same, expect for a little bit of road rash on the front bumper that I'm going to be tidying up.

Och you might be tempted yet, found a UK300 that interests me so a price drop of a couple hundred quid could be in order..

Talking of P1's, I like this one on pistonheads

I do want a newage, but always had a sweet spot for the UK300's. Its all price dependant at the moment, if I sell mine I won't be in the position to buy anything much higher than what I sell it for.

p1 would be awesome, but that really would end up as a garage ornament.
