rallyfever Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Euan Thorburns had a mare on stage 5 of the main event and dropped over 4 mins to the leader Bogie, I can only assume he has had an off or a puncture.

Ahh, your from Duns are ya !!! My cousins are from there and used to stay across from Aitchisons garage but now stay at the big house on the top of Hardens hill ;-) Many summers spent wondering about the town centre. Davie

Davie Hi Davie, Now in Peebles, but born and bred in Duns though, Dale is still leading after stage 7 - but only by 0.1 secs from Dougie Brydon. Dingers rule the roads round Duns!!! Not sure if they'll be able to keep it up mind you as there's a couple of WRC's on their tails. Gary
rallyfever Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Bogie is on a mission in the International - now 49 secs ahead!!!! Gary
rallyfever Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Dale drops 13 secs to Dougie on special stage 8 - Doug now 12 secs ahead and in pole position, come on bro pull the finger out!!!! Gary
rallyfever Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Steve Simpson take 5 out of Dale and overtakes him for 2nd - risks need to be taken now fella!!! Gary
rallyfever Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Damian Cole also passes Dale to take 3rd and demote bro to 4th - stage 9 should be interesting, see if the wee man can keep the heed!!!! Gary
rallyfever Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Well that was interesting, leading overall on Friday night, had to retire Saturday with hunners of punctures, sitting 6th overall on Sunday, had to retire with mechanical gremlins. As they say "That's Rallying" Better luck next time Bro, buy a Scoob - much more reliable than that old Evo 9 you have!!!! Gary
micra_wrc Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 we were manning the Vision unit in Duns on Fri and Sat. Didn't get to any stages, but had a prime spot near the Start/Finish line and were up close to the ceremonial start/prize giving presentations. here are the pics I managed to take Mike Brewer, co-driver to Robbie Head in the Evo pace car on Friday night Loiuse Aitken-Walker waving the cars over the start line Pirelli girls Trade was good but the weather was bizarre, one minute it was sunny but the next was hail stoning! Big shout out to those that visited the stand over the 2 days, Baz, Cathy, JamesM, TPS Andy, Drina, Dave222 and anyone else I've forgotten
scooby222 Posted May 29, 2011 Author Posted May 29, 2011 missed Duns on friday night courtesy of getting caught up at work apologies to those i was going to catch up with had a fantastic weekend, weather was ok, action was plentiful and managed to catch up with the Donkey porn king himself and his new fiance on saturday afternoon level of driving throughout the weekend was fantastic but has to be said Bogie was on a different league in both classes hard luck on your brother Gary but like you said, shouldve gone to subaru
