My old freind the engine management light decided to raise its ugly head again and came on as i was driving nice and easy in 4th gear towards sheriff hall roundabout at 40mph. Was wondering if anyone wld be able to read the fault code i can come to them today or im off fri/sat or if its easier see them on sunday at knockhill... Any help wld be great as i dnt wana take it to a garage cheers paul

Alastair Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I'm sure that's the lambda sensor on the down pipe ... Check the wires are ok ,, not melted or damaged

DR Motosport Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Will be fine to drive, just take plenty of fuel with you, low-mid teens mpg. The sensor has a small heater element to help it get up to temperature quicker, that's what will be away, unfortunately you have to change the full sensor. Price not too bad, expect double that from the dealer. Davie
