scooby222 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 amen - thats a thousand more than my second set of subaru shocks lasted
scouk Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Replaced the rear shocks on my bugeye with the relatively standard issue KYB's and wore them out in 6 months!! Couldn't; be arsed with any warranty stuff and decided to save the pennies and get coilovers.. So far Ive yet to hear of anyone wear out the BC's but heard the TEIN's started to go after a couple of years.. When you take into account the cost of shocks every few months and getting them fitted, aftermarket coilovers starts to work out cheaper!
Hightower Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 well after a fair bit of arguing and some exellent work on ian grieves part arguing with the warranty company and subaru got the rear set changed on my rb to the uprated ones.... all 4 now changed in a few months hopefully the blistein uprted ones will last. no reports of them failing....yet.
jebus82 Posted April 30, 2011 Author Posted April 30, 2011 looking more like the front drop links, rear shocks slightly worn. if they dont do the drop links under warranty car over 3 years old i take it the general opinion would be whiteline drop links not the subaru ones!! cheers jebus
