new rad cap leaking

hi only had this car couple of weeks went for a drive today,stopped at roundabout. when pulling away saw a puff of white smoke from under drivers side of bonnet.got home opened bonnet, just touched header cap and a foutain of water erupted. hope this is fauly cap and nothing more sinster?.your thoughts please guys

gonna get new cap,hope thats all it is!this one already looks new though.
