I would be tempted just to get them refurbished in black if it were me - would look fantastic! ;)

i thought about that and black is definatley the colour wheels i will get. but have seen a nice set of 18"s in black local to me.

i recon the gold rims you have now look great.. i have 18" on my vw t4 they look great but all i would say about them is that when you hit a pothole ect with them its hell and i managed to but 3 cracks on one of my rims last week on a forum meet up at greatwood when i hit a massive pothole... but i guess the scooby is differant to the t4 does anybody else run 18" on there scooby do they find the same problem with pot holes ect??

anyway mate good luck with your wheel hunt nice motor

Hi mate ,the clearance i had with my Prodrive wheels was like 3mm with no issues

You could ask if they would take them back ....You can always get some spacers 3mm upwards...

I know im not from ur area but im runnin 18" wolfrace and the front drivers wheel is bent on the rim due to a pothole. :( plus u feel every bump in the road as the tyres have no give. I think im eventually gonna move to 17".

Yeah offset spacers are available. That is a shame Mike, you got any photos of them fitted?

what do you think. i'm even thinking of getting the sti wheels refurbed in satin black and just swap the tyres over.(sorry terry)
