xphilsx Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) New splitter ^_^ Nice oh and different backdrop haha Edited February 28, 2011 by icemosh
CJE Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Sat nav stuck on the window? Wiper blades not stopping at the bottom of the screen? Ahhhh.... splitter very nice! Now the snow has gone I'm thinking of getting mine painted up and put on. Just in time to loose it on the Highland Fling, no doubt.
Midnight21 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Looking swell think i'll put a splitter on the wagon....just to keep up with the Jones's lol (hope thats not your surname )
Ovv Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 The van has turned into a wall... Splitter looks nice.
mystery machine Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Erm, looks like between the first pic and the second you bricked that works van up in an outdoor sh1tter! The new splitter is nice! Always an improvement to a newage bumper IMO I'd fit one to mine, if not for it being lowered 4cm... plus the lowering kind of has a similar visual effect anyway. Is that Bridgestone Potenza RE070 rubber you're running on?
Alastair Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 RE070 best in the dry not so in the wet but i just dont push in the wet so they are fine for me.
mystery machine Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Cool, I just ordered a set of RE070s to replace my slightly tired (and 25% punctured) Avon ZZ3s. Due to be fitted on Wed – looking forward to it. Like yourself I don't push it much in the wet, only tend to go for spirited runs in the dry weather. Sometimes like to drive enthusiastically on 'slightly damp' cold roads in winter though... have you had much experience pushing the RE070s in that weather?
scooby222 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 looks good, newages really need the splitter i reckon CJE im sure you wont lose the splitter on the fling - the next car along will catch it
marko72 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Yep, looks better with the splitter on. Edited February 28, 2011 by marko72

C_WRX Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Aye the splitter on a newage is a nice addition indeed - just watch out parking nose in etc, catches very easily.
luvmyscooby Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Difference is you have put on RB type splitter, good man All you need now is the orange RB badge to replace the sti one as i did today
