Vimmy
That's impressive – how many miles had it clocked when you bought it? I bought the car over 5 years ago with 94k on the clock, so being a 7yr old car with around a 14k average annual mileage i took the risk. I've since then covered 127,000 extra fun filled miles, with extra mods along the way and it just runs and runs Link to comment

Vimmy
No mate, still on the same engine and gearbox, upgraded the clutch with a bigger specced one at around 150k and still going I was planning to go for a rebuild at 250K but I'm gonna keep going until it either loses all power or just siezes one day As and when it does come round I was tempted to go for a 2.5litre lump, but I'd rather keep the same 2litre block and rebuld it with stronger internals and maybe get a stroker kit, but I dunno what to do I'm hoping it's a long way off yet Edited March 7, 2011 by Vimmy Link to comment
