Police speed trap Kirkintilloch Link Road

Just to let everyone know the Police are targeting drivers on the new Kirkintilloch Link Road.

Got done on Friday night at 5.45pm doing 43mph. Two of Strathclyde's finest had parked their marked BMW touring round the corner and were standing behind the roundabout sign on the Larkfield Roundabout. They said they would be there 'all the time' from now on due to 'complaints about speeding'.

Its a farce that this particular stretch is 30mph and once you pass the lights Larkfield Medical Centre it becomes national speed limit.

Anyways enough of the rant, just thought I would warn fellow scooby owners out there, watch yourselves.

Yeh, I agree Arch. I passed by a car pulled over by two WPCs just off the 1st roundabout before you get to the traffic lights heading out of Kirkie on Friday late afternoon.

They also gave me the stare as I joined the bypass roundabout from the Loch Road side .
