The golf was 140bhp with an angel tunning remap, cat back Miltek exhaust & a K&N panel filter & was running at 190bhp & 420 NM torque so it was pretty fast, Fuel wise it done 550 mile to a tank of fuel & 45-50 mpg, i ran the car for a year & done 11k miles with no problems with reliability.

The golf was a great car and i only changed it as i need some thing bigger now.

Very nice Barry, love the look of the Golf.

My daily car will be changing in the near future, which means it's my Impreza that will be up for sale. :crying:

Need something with more interior space and better fuel consumption. :(

Know the feeling gordon!! Mine will be up for sale very soon too. Can justify it as an everyday car anymore as the price of fuel has just hit £1.40 a litre on the island!! Always said to myself that if it went that high then im getting a diesel lol

Yeah i know Joe, it's been my daily car for over 3yrs now and has been awesome, but i'm doing about 280miles a week at the moment so the fuel bills are getting beyond a joke.

Im the same gordon!! About a tank a week and also a run up and down to aberdeen every 2 weeks. Not good on the wallet!! Will get another scoob once the wee one goes to school next year and it aint costing me 350quid a month on child care fees!! lol
