jebus82 Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 as you will be aware from an earlier topic gona get the monster graphics done. was just wondering will they need to be declared and will they put the insurance up? any one with graphics be able to answer this? cheers jebus
Alastair Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Unfortunately graphics do need to be declared, and yes it will ad a few hundred to the insurance quote. Was tempted to remove mine as with the other declared performance mods it is getting near that £1000 Mark...
stum450n Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Oddly, a full wrap doesn't affect the insurance though?!? Always struck me as strange.
Alastair Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Oddly, a full wrap doesn't affect the insurance though?!? Always struck me as strange. Really I thought it would have counted as sticker in the mods section? Maybe I should have gone for that then.....next time maybe ..
thebigfelly Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 never knew u had o declare decals as a mod . ooops
scoobykev Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I declared mine, it added about £50 to my premium.
jebus82 Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 just been on to elephant, they say that as graphics dont affect the performance they dont count and so will not put ma policy up!! happy days!!!!
BalliSTIc Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 So, bottom line: whatever you do (or plan to) - check first, rather than have them NOT pay out 'cos you didn't. And get it in writing!
