craig d Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Evening all< managed to scrap myself into a new RA andd now the fooker is showing a fault code. The handbrake light stays on once its down!! can for the life remember if that a break fault or an oil problem? Anyone just refresh my memory please Thanks
paul555sti Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Would that not just be a stuck handbrake switch? ( could be totally wrong )
supremeweb Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Mine does the same. Think its telling you it wants new brakes.
rig-pig Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 check the brake fluid level m8 as the light will come on and stay on if its low
Joe G Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 was brake fluid level last time the brake light stuck on, on my old classic!
craig d Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 Thanks guys! Iv checked all the fluids and they are all ok. if i rememeber right the classic (1995 RA) doesnt have any brake sensor's (could be wrong) to tell u that the pads are low, so the only thing it could be is a faulty handbrake sensor!
