Recommend a helmet

Looking to buy myself a new helmet for the arrival of my new bike( when I find one I can afford! ) I'm using an old agv I've had for years it's great but too old so need a new one asap off looking at some today and I think I've set my mind on a new agv airtech rapid

Just wondered what everybody else uses and and pointers what one to buy

well i need one for the track days ill be doing next year too so it will get well used!!

That looks the same as my Lid. It's very comfy,not to heavy & noise isn't to bad either at 60mph (if it is that one)

i had an agv for years (mackenzie rep) + i loved it. now using a kbc which is a fair bit lighter than my old lid but more wind noise with it, doesn't boher me as i drown it out with my mp3 player..lol

i like the kbc now compared to my old agv, but i rekon the newer agv's will be better built.

colin uses an arai now + he says he wouldn't wear anything else now it's that good, especially the pinlock visor for winter.

ive seen a couple of agvs i like especially the rossi one with his face on it and the new barry sheene rep really cool and retro i like this one cause its matt rather than a high shine finish just a wee bit different!!

As Johnny says I used to use a Dianese Ergon which looks amazing but was getting on in years so I replaced it with an Arai Vector Camo.

I wear it every day so don't notice how amazing it is any more but it really is outstanding. It's true that I wouldn't wear anything else now and for a commuter the pinlock is an absolute godsend. If you're on the fence about buying one just get it.

i have a nolan N90 flip front it really comfy and easy to flip open with one gloved hand

i also have a bike listed in the forsale section if your interested lol

agv, shoei or arai you really cant go wrong

i fancied an agv for my first helmet but just didnt feel comfortable whereas the arai fitted like a glove,on my 4th one now an rx7 rr and i wouldnt even look at another make,its not brand snobbery they are that good

Make sure you take your time getting one that fits your heed like a glove though as an ill fitting helmet is torture!
