whisperuk Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Having started looking at replacing my broken fog light i was wondering wether to get the covers to replace them or not. Was wondering what people thought of them I know Vimmy has some and i quite like it especially for having the cold air feed into the induction, do people prefer the rugged foglight look? or the softer look from the blank plates / covers? Andy
stum450n Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Been looking at covers myself mate but with the cost of them for a blobeye, I've held back for now... one day though! Much prefer the sleek look myself
myles Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I had a cracked foglight, so I bought fog covers. Never looked back.
Vimmy Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I went for covers as I never used the fog lights, even in the limited times I did, they didnt do very much apart from p*** other oncoming drivers off I eventually cut holes in my covers for a cold air feed and never looked back either
andyjudge Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Mmm, Money no object would be to replace the fogs with a huge set of driving lamps (My first Scoob had a set & made driving at night so much better). However I agree the fogs do get limited use for most people, I do use mine when the mist's about (It's been quite misty of late at 4am a couple of times recently). Andy
Vimmy Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Blimey isn't it funny the fog descends at that early an hour, it's a funny time to be up to test the lights tho' , it just shows the commitment scooby drivers make to ensure things work
