scooby222 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) just to let people who dont go into events much that a date and venue is now confirmed for this and bookings can be made, its a sticky in events and at the top of here. itl be a great night and of course i would take absolutely no pleasure in having a huge turnout when the scoobyball down south had to be cancelled ... now including the tayside run in the morning - see Ballistics post 18 for details Edited October 13, 2010 by scooby222

BalliSTIc Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Hi Folks! Just a wee addendum to hopefully pull in a few more bods, we're ALSO organising a RUN the same day, clocking up about 100 miles in the process and setting us all up nicely for kicking back in the evening with the scran and ceilidh. There's no expectation on anyone to go to BOTH events, but it will be fun and after the Highland Fling, I can't recommend coming along highly enough. Details of the Hotel etc can be found in the events section inc who/ when to pay re meals and if you're staying. THE RUN: For the usual reasons, I won't be posting up the route, but you WILL need a full tank and it'll involve about 2x 2hrs of driving at scooby speed and a wee break for a pitstop in the middle... braw! As such, would suggest everyone meets at the hotel at 1130am aiming to set off shortly thereafter. All those interested, please add their name to the Ceilidh attendees list in the Events section saying whether you're joining for the run and/or meal/ ceilidh and/or staying. Looking forward to it!
micra_wrc Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 great idea to include a run for the weekend. we won't be able to make it for the run, we'll hear all about it over dinner no doubt
