My Hawk After Some Tlc

Spent a couple of hours giving her some much needed tlc, tried that new turtle wax ice I saw advertised on t.v to see how it goes, my IPhone cam doesnt really do it justice though

thnx for the comments, yeah I saw turtle wax ice advertised on tv at halfords so went over to see if they had it, to find not 1 but multiple ice products ranging from the clay pad for smoothing right up to synthetic shampoo lol, I got the all in 1 wax kit for 12 quid, doesnt leave any white residue like other polishes but its just a wax and wont remove much oxidation ect, comes with a applicator pad and a cloth for buffing it off. Was well impressed how easy it brought up the shine

also good to see thr priorities are correct, hide the number plate on the scoob, dont bother with the ford

lets face it if you had to choose which one was to get knicked , youd be picking the mondeo , unless it was the new version of subaru which is just too round short and doesnt have a proper bonnet scoop on it , looks like a bigger up to date version of a pulsar

I pass through Aloha from time to time myself - think I've spotted you a couple of times (mine's a met grey hawk STI).

Did you have the wheels refin'ed in silver then?

yeah think I have seen ya few times in aloha, the wheels were already done in silver when I got the car however some bits have now got slight peeling and the gold is showing underneath, probably get a year out them then need re done again

we will be heading up your way in july with our caravan to john o groats, wife always wanted to visit orkney so will probably get a tour on the pentland venture ferry (been to john o groats many times, love it up there), by the time I get there I will be missing my scoob so u could show me yours , if ya wanna get together for a pint or many that would be cool

Well done, nice to see a bit of shine now and then. Black always comes up nice when you put the effort in. Be interesting to see with that product if it lasts a decent time.

Just reminding me I need to get stuck in to mine, over the winter/spring has picked up a few flaws plus needs a clay and fresh coat or 5, just finding the time !
