Help Fitting Kenwood Headunit In Hawkeye

Alright guys, well as you all know the standard subaru headunit is cack.

so i headed out and bought a DNX5220BT does it all really.

Now my only problem is the standard unit fitted has been messed with by previous owner.

I think whats happened is they hadve removed a good headunit from the car and bought a replacement off ebay.

only thing is the fitting brackets are for an 03 plate blob and sit the headunit all wrong in the Hawkeye

so anyone any ideas on how to fit?

does the 08 cars have the same mounting depth and angle?

or where can i get the orginal brakets from any you guys got any lying around?

Just get brackets from the dealers. Make sure you've got the harness adaptor too.

I got a few things from the dealers when I did my stero install. The wee dash pocket springs to mind.
