Immobilser Help?

Anyone clued up on immobilisers? (I think its that!)

Had a few problems over the last couple of days

Wednesday.... whilst engine was running and passenger door was open the car just cut out on me...wouldn't start after a few attempts...then fired up after a few minutes

Today(afternoon) .... wouldnt start again after locking it as normal and returning after 10 mins....30 minutes later it started

Today(evening ) ..... started as normal....left door open with car running at work while locked up the building...then at sherifhall roundabout car just cut out on me..... would crank the engine but think the immobiliser has cut the fuel or the ignition! eventually after an hour it started

Its a toad alarm ....

just worried that would have happened whilst driving along the bypass!
