giboman Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) The road from Wootton Bassett to Lyneham has been re-surfaced with chipping ...i wonder how many windsreens have been broken, costing us money, and not only windcreeens but chipped bonnets etc. i have been lucky with my windcreen not even a chip on it, but i wish it would have been my windscreen it would have just cost me my excess, instead a chipping got betweend my alloys and the brembos and has gauged the caliper and taken the paint what a bummer, i wonder how much that will cost me apart from my council and road taxes Mani Edited May 10, 2010 by stum450n

kevlorn Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 standard procedure for the local councils here,,pain the a*** i know...keep your speed down and a very good distance from the vehicle in front of you,but all it takes is someone coming the other way at speed to flick up the gravel..nightmare.
edmondo Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 cant afford to have any more chips or I will end up with a silver bonnet
