Boosting Issues

Hi guys Im having boosting issues between 3000 ish rpm and 5000ish rpm in 4th gear but no others this is just recent since changing my plugs.

any ideas

Plug change could be a coincidence. Changed any air filters or the MAF recently at a service!? How is the problem occuring!? Hesitation?

had the same problem a few weeks ago. had to change coil packs and my map sensor.

hi sounds like boost solinoid valve ive sold loads of these and always seems the problem

Its like some sort of restrictor kicking in, the car has a k and N filter which has been on it for ovr a year, and never did this before, the boost solenoid was replaced @ halleys 3000 miles ago and the MAF is also under a year old (had a few mapping issues and fried the chip)

i tool it onto the motorway and gently took it up the rev counter in every gear and it was ok.

once hot it was sluggish again.

car is a 2001 classic wagon with a the usual mods

Hi got it sorted the jubilee clip for the turbo hose had broken and it was slack, sorted that and re tested it
