chrisatno11 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Guys my beautiful 97 uk classic has a wobbly crankshaft pulley paid £150 for OE Subaru pulley - (Simpsons in Highworth refuse to refund me as I've missed the 7 day return policy ) local garage in Fairford (who I trust implicitly) has told me he can't fit new pulley as there is a "chunk" taken out out of the crankshaft where the woodruff key sits into the slot suspect previous owner had cambelt changed at his local garage and they damaged crank when removing pulley bottom line is I'm looking at possible engine rebuild and possible £1500 ! my scoob only cost me £2500 ! a. wanna keep the scoob as it's my pride and joy b. anyone have this before ? c who can I trust to help me locally ish to Swindon area please ??? please help .. getting desperate cj
