hi took the car for a mot today,got a phone call to go and collect it and the car had done 8miles,when i ask about they said they took it somewhere else,to be mot . .also someone put there on cd in and put up it full,very pissed off

Before we had our own test station we used to use another a few miles away. None of our customers had issue with this as they were long standing. If a new customer phoned and asked 'do you do MOTs?' I would always say no, but we can arrange one for you. 99% accepted this and used us.

I see you're problem though - what kind of treatment, booting it from cold, stereo on loud - why? Just hope no damage done. Did it pass? You can see where it was tested from the certificate.

Could see why your hacked off, but if a smallish local garage then there's probably hee haw interest from them if you are to complain and unless there's any visable damage not sure can do much.

A larger garage should for customer satisfaction want to know. If the MOT station is less than 4 miles away worth asking where else they went ?

Doesn't mean it was mistreated, loud music wont hurt it, but can see what you're getting at. If work was done often it's taken for a short test drive as well.

Did the driver want his CD back ??

if that was my car some c7nt would be on there way to the royal infirmary you work hard for what you got they can buy their own and f7ck it up just my rant get the name of it up

just seen the wife,told her the story and now she tells me they said they would be taking it to a other mot station,lesson learned dont let you wife book you car in,got a good cd out it.

It depends how much you trust your local garage.

Dunc at Hypertech uses somebody else for his m.o.t's and i trust him to drive my car to and from the place but i dont think he likes being in my seats much anyway
