lescazscoob Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 took the old gearbox out the car and went to fit the new one trouble is the box just wont go in! ive allinged the clutch so i can rule that out but still feels as if that is whats stopping it when i try to fit it?? any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated! fitted 4 box's in the past with no problems so this has got me kinda stumped! thanks les
euan_r Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 the plate just above front sub frame maybe? havent had bother with it before but only thing that i can think of, or possibly two dowels on one side if different box. taking the mount for pitch stopper helps as it can be quite close to bulkhead/clutch fluid line.
