Brilliant weather, sorry I missed it now!!

Saw quite a few of the cars coming back into Dundee... was on my way to Perth in a Green Focus RS and noticed a few of the cars I'd seen at SIDC Knockhill Events before. :D

Cheers,

Good pics as usual John, seems to be alot more track focused cars doing the rounds nowadays

Yep, great day today, weather was perfect, though a damper track for longer would have been nice :D

John, thanks for organising the event and for taking some fantastics shots.

To the Lotus club guys, sorry to hear of the loss of a fellow member, Bryan (spelling?) sounded like a great guy to have met and known.

The day was certainly full of many 'track-focused' cars, I love the integrale but I feel something more track focused would be better suited certainly to the drier conditions, perhaps a Lotus...

Cheers

Hi Guys

Went up yesterday and lasted only until 11, lack of scoobs on track for me, but very good weather, i never even saw any faces i knew, very changed days.

Have the rules changed for standing on the pit wall now a days? i wasnt allowed to take my son onto the pit wall area!!!!!!

Heay there was a P1 on track which made my day, still the best looing scoob in my eyes.

I saw you mate.. well, I saw the Red 360 Spider (MCR) and recall seeing an Evo closely after!!

The RS is impressive on the whole, the torque it produces is very impressive, pulls cleanly in 6th gear from c1500rpm onwards.

Mostly dry for once which was a bonus ( managed to get the slicks on) No problems with the car (white/checkered Evo rs)

Great day, alot of nice cars (loved the integrale) and some cracking pics.

Looking forward to future events.

I had a great day too - my first track day! I had the 02 plate STi with "THE OFFICE" written all over it as my 1995 beasty still aint ready.

Great banter, friendly folks and so much fun, will defenatly be back! Hope I did not get in anyones way, especially with my unique line on the 3rd turn. Later found out thats why I was eating tyres! And resorted to a better line.

Went through £140 worth of fuel that day! Think I removed quite a bit of the o zone layer! Wont print anything at work for a month to make up for it!

Anyone know where all the pics from the many photographers will be?

Next time taking the slicks for sure! And gunna invest in some mudflaps so that the guys in the CARS RECOVERY SEAT wont get so covered in my dust

That was me in the integrale, thanks  Brilliant day. I always feel like it would be nice to spend more time in the pits chatting and meeting folk but the lure of the track is strong :) I'll probably get along to a few events this year to spectate I think and meet up with some folks. As there is no integrale 'club' up here it would be nice to meet some fellow motoring enthusiasts.

Enjoyed speaking with the folks I did though - hope to meet up at the track again soon.

Cheers

Thanks for organising not only a great day but some great weather John.

The track was very busy but exeptionally well behaved. I dont think i managed a whole clear lap without being held up at some point. Then again its the 1st day of the year for a lot of people and it was a bit cold so people spend less time gassing and more time burning gas! I had a lot of fun playing with Mads, the ex racer in the black R400

Really just used the day as a shakedown before Time Attack. There was a bit too much body roll and a bit too much oversteer. Ended my day with a cracked down pipe caused by my new exhaust. These things will all be fixed for Oulton Park Time Attack.
