Semi Slick Tyre Options For Track Days?

Hi All,

Just bought a second set of 18" wheels, with the intended purpose of putting semi slick tyres on them for track days. I've had a look at the R888's which sound good but are bloody expensive, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest an alternative that they've found work well on the track?

Hi I use Dunlop Tarmac Rally CR311s which are a cut slick and can be purchased in a range of compounds from soft to hard. They are epic tyres and take a real beating.

Hi no sadly they are not road legal.

I managed to buy my last set for £100 which were part worn but hardly used.
