Sleiper Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 hi guys got a wee query, looking to put a new centre section on my V9 ppp before getting my remap. the one i'm looking at is a tornado from scooby parts that does away with middle cat and resonator, however i don't know if the ppp exhaust has already deleted these/ if not would it be compatible? any help appreciated! Stu
scoob fae ork Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 AS far as im aware the PPP changes the down pipe to a sports cat and the back box. The center section has a cat and if you fit the tornado part you will remove a cat and it should fit i think. Hope this makes sense and helps

scooby222 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 v9 sti has a sportcat downpipe, PPP deletes the centre cat but not the resonated section. to clarify if your cars PPP then it has no centre cat so no need to replace the centre section unless you want to delete the resonator box or upgrade from the PPP 2.5 inch pipework to 3" pipework-but that would need a full downpipe back exhaust

scooby222 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) yea it will give a slightly deeper sound, power gains minimal dont get me wrong if your happy to do it go for it but on a ppp car it doesnt make much difference as its already decatted i was going to change the centre section on mine for more of a burble after i changed the back box but ended up going for a full 3" decat instead Edited February 21, 2010 by scooby222
