That should be fun i might have the lowiest bhp but i will have the best mpg yes now i have turned really dull....

if thats the case you will have a good starting point and then compare as you gradually mod up

It is good to do i am with you on that.Once i have it done i then can have a base line for my car and work my way up from there

if you have decatted by then you should expect 235 - 240...........the get a Simtek ECU , walboro Fuel Pump , bigger injectors and a remap then could be pushing 300!

Cheers i want all of that now will i have to do anything to my turbo or any parts inside of the engine...

if you are serious then yes you will need to change the Turbo but the internals as standard should be ok up to 350 - 360 I think..............Big D is the man to give you advice on that

I will have it decated asap then i will see what happens from there.Remember this is my daily driver so if i start going made i still need a car that will not brake down..

well 2 things spring to mind................

1. do you not work in Swindon?..............if so the few miles a day isnt gonna hurt

2. Scoobies are pretty bulletproof so with careful modding and regular servicing then you should be ok

I have had mine for nearly 4 years - bear in mind its a 1995 model - and all I have had is the Gearbox ( 250 from Grade A Breakers + 200 for fitting by a friendly garage in Chippenham , Thermostat went and cost me 20 quid for part and Big D fitted it and the Radiator had a stone go through it. Bought it with 64000kms on the clock and now has 185000kms on!

fair enough mate good points there and yeah i do work in swindon so with what you have said i will go out and sell the mrs and spend the money i get on a new gear stick then i will get my money out

once she is on your side mate - be plain sailing however if she isnt hhhhhhmmmmm sticky time but once she gets into the social side then she wont mind..........so with the Swindon Meet - I see your down for the Oxford Meet.......then the March meet plus Rolling Road then if she does all 4 you will be laughing

Or she will see me spending loads of money on parts then loads on fuel but i will cross that bridge when it comes (by then very fast) might start buying lots of flowers and stuff now
