Ovv Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Was just wondering if Town and County still do Subaru in Aberdeen ? Was up there at the weekend and the old showroom was a sales room for some kitchen place, having just looked on the website it says they no longer sell new and it only mentions aftersales such as serving etc, no 2nd hand dealings then ?? Chris.
RA Dunk Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Think it's the land rover place who deal with Subaru parts nowadays, I could be wrong though
rig-pig Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 i think T&C lost the subaru deal m8 Autoecosse in Dundee has it now
thefastone Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Town and county GAVE UP the Subaru Franchise, which means that they are no longer selling them anymore, new or second hand, although, as I understand it, if you were to go to them and ask, I believe that they should be able to source you a car if you knew what you were after... They are however, still Subaru approved for servicing, still with the same staff, and they still do parts. as Dunk pointed out, you go into the Landrover dealership for that now, for both servicing and parts. As Craig pointed out, AutoEcosse are also now Subaru Dealers, and do Sales/Parts/Sevicing, and they give decent enough service, I was down there a while back getting stuff done from them.
Ovv Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 Cheers for clearing that up. Ive been past Autoecosse a few times as its only a couple of miles from my house, but never actually had a chance to stop and look as the mrs isnt keen on me looking for one I just thought I would look in on T&C since I was in area on Saturday. My neighbour bought his STi from Autoecosse and he has nothing but good comments about them. I think they sourced his for him.
thefastone Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I've been in and had a chat with the guy who runs AutoEcosse, and it seems pretty sound. they dont do the club discount scheme, but they do a scheme of their own, with, to be honest, is just as good, on parts and labour. Worth looking into for servicing.
thefastone Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Yeah I saw that a couple weeks ago, up on the Lang Stracht, it doesn't affect the Subaru side of things though...
murtayamartin Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 t+c took 4 hours to fit mudflaps to my 03 sti and generally did not have a clue , autoecosse seemed quite sound having met them at alford last year martin
