paul_g Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 After last weeks cold spell my indicators are playing up on my 06 Hawkeye. Sometimes when I switch on an idicator it will blink for a number of times then stay on permanently. I suspect the relay so I had a look in the dashboard beside the fusebox and found a bank of relays. There are 6 black relays and 1 orange relay. Does anybody know which is the one for the indicators? I am assuming that it is probably the orange one. Does anybody know if I can I get a replacement from a good car parts store or do I have to go to a dealer to get one?
lewisscoob Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 You might be better posting this one in the strictly technical area mate.
dannymac Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) I dont know which one it is,but the easy way to find it is by switching the indicator on and press your finger on each relay, you will feel the indicator/hazzard one click or make a small buzz noise if its sticking,if its an intermitant fault it sounds like a sticky relay, sometimes just a 'tap and a wiggle' on it will get it working again. (Most motorfactors will have this relay in stock) Edited January 15, 2010 by dannymac
