I was looking forward to this too.

But I think for a World Class International event, supposed to be the showcase for the future of the WRC; to only have 6 - S2000 cars, borders on embarassing for the orgaisers. Not their fault though, maybe if the championship was still up for grabs.

The total entry is 65.

George, you'll well remember the Scottish Rally days when you took part having entries 3 times that.

Grant and I will be manning the Vision retail stand at Stirling services on Friday afternoon/evening and all day Saturday.

We're located near the Rally HQ, behind the Vue cinema.

This is the only area where entry is free of charge, come along and say Hi if you're in the area.

I wonder how many stages will be cancelled due to flooding!!!

Hope not any.

just got back in from todays final stages of the rac msa rally of scotland. awsome. soaked to the skin but well worth it. 2 stewards nearly let us onto special stage 12 by accident when they miss took my blobeye for an entry rather than directing us to the spectator stage!! that would have been interesting turning up at the start line!!!!

3rd. a mcrae

2nd.g wilks

1st.c meeke

chris dedicated his win to colin which all the crowd warmly applauded and i think it meant alot to him too. he's a man to watch in the future got alot of potential. and oh yes there was a mcrae on the podium too!! the interview with al was uncanny, he is colin through and through. considering he lives in the shaddow of a legend, he is a totally awsome driver as well and after seeing his impresive outing there's another champion in there and between him and meeke i think the mcrae name will live long in the rally community.

big shout out to all the scoobs who passed, waved, tooted, flashed!!!!! too many to name..........my nephew and brother in law were well impressed and cant believe what a friendly bunch the impreza crowd and subaru community is.

Chris Meeks 1st place is provisional until the Technical querie regarding the weight of his front cross member is confirmed.

It will most likely be Monday before its confirmed.

By all accounts it was a great success.

we managed to get into the restricted service area so got right up to the cars, even offered us a burger as they thought we were part of a team.

showed the hidden side to rallying ............dark, bloody wet, underneath a muddy car still dripping changing out parts. but still smiling.....ace.

i flashed a rake of scoobs that were going about...i was in the wr1

They dont check everything in scrutineering its only the top three winners that are subject to more stringent checks, we once had the brake disc diameter and thickness measured after coming third on the Jim Clark in 2006.
