mystery machine Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 At what year does it go to the longer ratio??Cheers Jase I'm not entirely sure, TBH - although I seem to remember reading that the ratios were revised when the 2.5L was introduced (end of '05, beginning of '06). That seems to tie-in with what ciaranrb5 was saying, but you might want to do your own research. Perhaps a main dealer could give a definitive answer...?

I found the box very good for point to point on back roads, in a straight line you are through the box really quick but unless your running a HUGE turbo this is not really an issue, well I never found one personally and I wouldn't say my car was one of the slow ones . IMO ideal for running the 20G

dipsy Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Have a look on spda-online and show the difference in gear ratio's be it classic or newage .The newage uk/euro Sti and Jdm sti have the same ratio's up to 4th gear .Then the Jdm Sti's have a different ratio 5/6 gear .This website only goes up to the last of the blobeye's
