To all intents and puposes it is the R34 version of what used to be the GTS on R32 and R33 versions. 2.5l single turbo rather than the 2.6l twin turbo GTR, easier car to live with everyday. Rear wheel drive I think (the R32 and R33 were) and no HICAS 4 wheel steer like on the GTR, so easier to get the ar5e out.
