Retaining Spring For Caliper Bolts

hi folks just changed the pads on my 2002 wrx when removing the two retaining bolts that hold the pads in place , the thin metal spring type device at the back of the caliper snapped the one that feeds through the two eyelets on the upper and lower bolts phoned subaru to be told i need to buy pads to get the spring , has anyone got a spare one i could borrow, pinch or steal thanks
