scooby222 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 how tough are carbon s[litters? having demolished one frp and one flexy plastic im wondering if a cf one would fare better? and ive tried running without one,car just looks naked!
westtra Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I think there even worse. just look at an f1 car and how they shatter at low speeds.
gc8-r Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 carbon is alot stronger than fibre glass and plastic... but will still crack,if it takes a good hit as it will only be one sheet tops..... but you could fill the back with a filler, give it that little bit more durability f
StrikE Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 but you could fill the back with a filler, give it that little bit more durability That is what i am going to do with mine fill the back lip. Just repaired my spliter on the RB, i was amazed at the fragility considering it's location on the car!!
